Custom Compounding
Diamond Pharmacy’s compounding laboratory and service allows us to custom formulate the dosage and form of many drugs, as opposed to the patient having to settle for the commercially available version. Compounding can be helpful for patients that have trouble swallowing pills and we can even make some medications that are no longer manufactured but are still prescribed.
Veterinary Pharmacy
Our compounding laboratory can also help out with your pet’s medication needs. We don’t compete with veterinarians, who often stock many of the meds they prescribe. On the contrary, we work with many local vets to expand the dosage and delivery options they have available to give to their patients. Flavored chews and liquids can also offer an option for giving drugs incrementally instead of cutting or breaking pills.
Compliance Packaging
Compliance packaging is often looked at as a tool to only be used for nursing home and assisted-care patients. However, many retail customers find it easier to keep track of their medications and when a refill is needed by using our custom blister cards. No more fumbling and straining over trying to open pill bottles!
Flavoring
The default tastes of many liquid medications often leave a lot to be desired, especially with kids. We can help with our flavoring service! We offer 18 different flavors to help curb that yucky flavor, so our patients can take the liquid meds they need. Flavors currently available are:
